What is mailer packaging automation?

Mailer packaging automation is an automated packaging system at the end-of- line in the warehouse order fulfillment process. The small to medium-ordered items are fed into the packaging machinery and wrapped and sealed into paper envelopes for shipping. The automation takes item sise and dimensions into account and then adjusts the sise of the mailer to minimise material waste and shipping costs. The mailer is then labeled and ready to be shipped.
